Our picnic is a cherished tradition, eagerly anticipated each year, and tickets are snapped up quickly once they're released in August. QUEENSLAND POWERCHAIR FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION (QPFA)
The Queensland Powerchair Football Association (QPFA) was founded to provide people with disabilities the opportunity to participate in team sport. Powerchair Football is an adapted version of football. Two teams of four hit and spin a 13-inch football on a regular-size basketball court. The game is played by athletes who use powerchairs for their everyday mobility. QPFA is affiliated with the Australian Powerchair Football Association (APFA).
BRISBANE LIONS POWERCHAIR FOOTBALL CLUB (LIONS PFC)
Established in 2019, Brisbane based Lions Powerchair Football Club (Lions PFC) competes during a season that plays through the middle of the year. Lions PFC is driven by experience and youth development through Heart, Pride and Passion. First2Care were a founding sponsor of the Lions PFC team and continue to support them every season.
AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP 2022
First2Care and QPFA members identified an opportunity to support two QLD teams to compete in the National Club Championships in April 2022 and raise awareness of this highly inclusive sport.
Likeminded providers came together to support these teams, leveraging their social media and creation of a social club. This activity has been able to shine a light on the benefits of such an inclusive sport, that grows community engagement and the wellbeing of more and more people that otherwise wouldn't have access to play an active sport such as Powerchair Football.

Pumpkin was a special part of the First2Care team for many reasons, whether it was her kind gentle nature, welcoming personality or the many toys left around the office, not one person in the office wasn't affected by her sudden passing.
It was only fitting that her memory should endure in the place she spent many of her weekdays in. The dog park has already had a tremendous impact on the local community with many positive comments about it's creation and how the local community now has some where close to take their dog.

WORLD BLIND GOLF

With tailored categories catering to blind, vision-impaired, and open-ability golfers, this tournament provides an opportunity for individuals to showcase their talents and foster camaraderie within the golfing community.
